Delma's Bio

Delma Garza will soon be celebrating her thirteenth year in radio.     “It’s like nothing else,” says Delma, who first dreamed of being on the radio ever since growing up watching her uncle produce his own Spanish language radio program years ago.  For most of her thireteen years, Delma has been part of the morning show on KLHB Club 98.3 in Corpus Christi.  “I guess it was a natural progression to go from class clown to morning show co host, the only difference is that the audience is bigger,” laughs Delma.

Born in a small town just south of Corpus Christi, Delma was the last of six children.  She became interested in radio while observing her uncle’s constant interest in radio.  Her curiosity led her to enroll in any type of courses that involved performing, writing and later radio courses at a local community college.

“The highlights of my career have to be when we’re able to help organizations and or individuals in a time of need,” says Delma. Food drives, Christmas toy drives and other charity related events are among the rewards associated with working at Club 98.    Delma Garza is proud to be a member of the Club 98 team and hopes to be for  years to come.
